General eBoard Questions

Yes, all boards can be pushed, the riot models will be a little more difficult due to resistance of the bands. But for the most part, the boards operate as a traditional skateboard.

The Exway boards range are based on a 150lb rider on level ground. The range will vary depending on height, weight and road quality. The distance of each board is shared on each product page.

Everything showcased on the boards accessory page can be used on the Exway boards. You can change; wheels, bushings, grip tape, battery swaps, charges. There are third party accessories that can also fit Exway boards.

It is not recommended for anyone weighing over 300lb

The waterproof level of Exway boards is IP55.

Riding through small puddles will not hurt the board, but be careful when riding through deep puddles where the wheels are completely submerged. We don’t suggest riding the board in any wet environment.

All the boards come with a smart battery. If the boards are not used for a while, the the board will power down and retain a 70% charge to protect the lifelong of the batter. It is recommended to charge and discharge the board once every 3 months if you plan on long storage. Charge up to 70%.

The battery life for most boards will be 500 cycles. After 500 cycles, the battery will have more than 70% life. This will vary upon temperate, climate etc. If you need your battery replaced, you can always order a new one.

Try different shoes, those with a softer sole. Wear flat (like converse) sole shoes.

We do not recommend sports shoes, if your feet are still taking a beating, try adding insoles and updating the Bushings.

Depending on airport regulations, for the Exway wave, you can detach the battery and you should be good to go. Exway X1 pro would not be certified for air travel. For transportation locally, we do have bag options to carrying your board in accessories.

Before each ride, it's a good idea to do a quick visual check of the board, check things like, screws, belts, and missing components etc.

Every 150-200 miles, we suggest at Go-eSkate to:

• Check screws and tighten them
• Remove wheels
• Check bushings for cracks or bulging and replace if needed
• Clean bearings and lubricate.
• Check belts for wear and splits. Make sure to replace your belt if it shows heavy wear. The last thing you want is for a belt to break while riding! Always keep a spare set at home.

Do I need new bushings to help with the vibrations?

Bushings will not help that much with comfort. We would suggest you checkout Cloudwheels if you’re looking for comfort. As for bushings - Riptide/orangatang, Nipples/Knuckles will work fine. They will improve board turning and overall riding experience.
